Sodium Bifluoride is a white inorganic solid. It is used to manufacture tin plates, as a neutralizer in laundry to preserve anatomical/zoological samples, and for glass etching. It is also used in antiseptics, leather bleaches, and cleaners (for stone, brick, ceramics, and masonry). It is also utilized in the synthesis of fluoride glasses at RT. It is also a precursor to prepare Na3MnF6 for high-pressure structure studies.
